SeeSaw - Our Online Learning Journal

Recently Habitat 17 has begun using Seesaw as a tool to share thier learning. Seesaw is an online sharing platform for learning that is designed for students, teachers and parents.

Habitat 17 have only recently started using Seesaw over the last couple of weeks and have quickly adapted to the different tools and features on the website. These features enable them to share their learning in many different ways. Some examples include adding voice over to photos, creating vlogs (blog videos), drawing pictures, and adding captions to what they upload.

Collectively so far we have submitted over 150 different pieces of learning.

Seesaw is designed for parents to connect with their students accounts so they can see the learning they have shared as soon as it updated. This is done through either an email or a notification on their phones. Your child should have brought home a notice to explain how you can sign up to Seesaw. If you need help signing up to Seesaw please don't hesitate to contact Shelley (shelleym@bayview.school.nz) or Jacob (jacoba@bayview.school.nz).

Below is a link to our Seesaw blog where the students can submit their learning for everyone with access to the blog to see. This will give you an idea of the type of learning the students can share on Seesaw. The password for this blog is habitat17.
